How to beat Stack of troops?

Can you guys tell your strategies to beat stacks of hundreds of troops or to advance towards the enemy capital?

Sometimes no one advances when i'm playing due to stacks of troops from opposite sides
Ex: 200 inf x 180 inf
And different troops also.

You either outflank the opposing army, or you force him to split his stack.

Or just realise where he is going and defend.

Or send a bigger stack

Let it come deep inside your territory, and then ambush it on reinf turn.

In fair match you would gain adequate amount of recruitment and income to handle your enemy if you are expanding properly. I suggest to visit Atwar youtube channel you will find there ample inspiration. Also check guides forum.

Intensive walling towards the directions of his attack, while harassing the stack with small "raids". On custom maps, you'll have units with certain bonuses that can be useful, or stuff like that. On regular maps, sacrifice the damned militia and use heli, or if you have the funds, bomb the damned thing to oblivion.
