Good Rollout Strategies?

Whenever my friends and I play, I usually die extremely quickly. i know this is because I never know where to start, how to rollout, and what Strategy to use.

Normally I use Imperialist and start in France, but UK, Ukraine, or Turkey always screw me over. Even if I am almost the last person to pick a country, and I picked France, someone chooses a country near me.

Basically someone always crowds me in and I don't know what to do...

What do you guys do? Any tips?

I'd suggest using perfect defense and spamming infantry.

Rule 1: Don't pick France, ever, unless you're in a 1v1 against someone in Eastern EU

France is useful if you are alone in the west otherwise.. nope.

France is a good country, if you are not trapped by Spain, UK, Germany and Italy players.
If two of those countries are selected you are over.

actually i find France a good counter to Spain.

He said France is good as long as you aren't surrounded by everyone else. If it's just you and Spain in the west, then yeah it's pretty good, but not when you have 3 other guys on your ass.

All strategies are good if you know how to play them. Play wise play smart. Sometimes it's better to wait and defend. Just one tip.

Imperialist Turkey isnt bad.

With the extra marine range upgrade that I have, and the -10 cost for marines that I'm going to get, it'll be OP in my eyes.

Never pick france if you are traped by spain and those other places your more likey going to die them fight so be the last to pick so you know where to pick and all that.

Never pick france. I support that. Dies too fast

Anyway, why necroing this? This guy is inactive 270days ago. Someone lock it

France is a good pick and experienced players can do really well with it but expect to get attacked a lot and surrounded on many occasions as it has so many major countries around it
PD is a good thing to do in this case since you will get attacked a lot but i suggest you look into fourms on how to use PD before using it because its very different from a lot of the other begging strategies.

(1v1s)

1. Pick Ukraine PD
2. Be rich as fuck and have almost everything when turn 3 starts
3. Win the game
4. ???
5. Profit!
