Is it legit to put land units in wall on the water?

So I had this game this one guy put militia units in water and i could not attack to them with boats! In my opinion that should be bannable but I dont know did not find answer so i asked!

Depends. If the map has air units you can attack it with air units. Also you can attack the middle of the wall with boats. Just SS What happened and they will tell you if it is bannable.

Depends on the map, if its a map with no air units or with few highly expensive air units then the mapmaker will probably ban, on world map its fine as you can use bombers to break.

Meh had it once on a map i did not know had no airunits lol Andartes immidiately demanded Bans and all that nonesense while it was my first time on that map, how about Mapmakers actually Advertise this shit IN their maps instead?

i could but a combo of both would be more effective (innitiative from the player & the advertising by the mapmaker)

How do even put militia in walls on the water? I saw other people do this but could not figure out how to do it

Labcat, put some units into a transport ship. Move the stack to the ocean. Click the stack, choose to load all the troops into the boat, except one troop. Move the transport a bit, click the stack, transport all units except one, repeat.

I know it's not really authorized / well seen on Ancient map, altho i do it sometimes vs nasty players who deserve a good kick in the ass.
