Lobby view while waiting for a game

OK, so I decide to start a game, but now I can no longer see who's in the lobby, and losing the [lb] chat makes me have to shout to Global to advertise my game. So this is two part:

Can we get back Lobby Chat?
and is it possible to still see a list of players in the lobby until a game is begun, without having to leave the game?

1. You can still chat in the lobby -they just changed the name of the channel to "room" so just select that channel and you can chat there instead of global

2. I dont think you can see lobby player list while in a game creation window - at least not yet
