So desired but very disappointing game that you have ever played?

Guys,

What was the most desired game that you eagerly wanted to play but became a great disappointment later? What was the most annoying thing about it?

What made you to dislike it: the short or dull story, the inability to be played even on the most advanced hardware, the poor graphic or something else?

For me it was the Rebel Assault because the game featured groundbreaking full motion video sequences, but played poorly on even the most advanced hardware, with blocky, pixelated images and jumpy frame rates, short and relatively dull story and etc.

Please comment.

Game trailers are made to impress. I'm really sorry for your bad experience. It is very strange that the developers ignored all the posts and suggestions given by the fans and game lovers, because the investment in game creation and development is huge.

Wow, that is a lot of money

if the game was what i expected it to be, with good multiplayer also, i swear i would even give as much as 200 euros for it.Im giving them tommorow if possible

Hearts of Iron 3, for some reason I sucked horrible at that game and the tutorial made no sense.

Hm at the top of my mind ...total war rome 2 - in comparison with first rome and medieval 2
Hm deus ex human revolution - same thing, first game is like a cult game for me
far cry 3 - to damn easy
star wars knighs of the old republic 2 - god the ending sucked

fuck no ...i always play on higest mode. For fuck sake i fired my rifle towards one base accidently from 2 miles apart ...next thing i knowm it says you liberated that base -___-

OMG!!!!! HOI3 is the best game i played , watch an online Tutorial , the game tutorial sucks , but it is a great game !!!

I've downloaded HOI3 about a week ago and finished a game with Turkey. I joined Axis and made some gains but USSR took them back and destroyed whole German army. Eventually we lost whole Balkans and Soviets invaded me through West because I had no troops there. I managed to hold USSR troops in East tho, they couldn't get past me. It was really fun

Yes, I had the same experience. I also had a very bad experience with the tutorial of Panzer Corps. It was long and there were so many things that I could not memorize
