Hi. Can someone explain to me all the INFORMAL etics? The etics i know of are: - Don't attack other players capital first turn; - Don't wf 1 turn; - Don't backstab an ally; Are there more for fair.(better) play?

Rewall and serbian wall tend to be frowned upon unless they are pre-agreed on

There are two universal ethics that I have seen to be accepted by the majority (competitive speaking) 1. No intentional wallfucks turn1 2. If something is unintentionally wallfucked turn 1 then it is an unwritten rule not to take said city turn 2 (this is all home country cities) My opinion on good etiquette differs from most, i think if something can be countered then there is no real complaint, but there is still debate over the use of 1.serbian walling -killing all wall units and walling same turn (can be countered by wfing your own city) 2.rewalling - moving your wall units away and walling with new units (easily countered by breaking + wfing city) 3.Team walling - team mate making new wall knowing yours will be broken (countered same as rewalling) 4. early disconections - generally a game will be drawn when in the initial turns someone is disconnected and especially if they dont move at all turn 1 (some assholes don't though) 5. Combo selections / fixed picks - no picking turk/ukr combo in eu+ is the only real killer one countered by picking what you don't want your opponent to have or if necessary agreeing this one pre game. When you play a lot, you will understand what people / teams desire and can work to it accordingly. Hope that helps.

For example, if you are playing as UK in turn 1 and you wall your transport at some point of denmark, but someone feels like making his hamburg wall long and end up wf'ing your trans wall, in turn 2 you cannot attack hamburg but he can attack your sea trans even though his intention was to not wallfuck them. Nice SM logic, will never understand it.

For the same reason I shouldn't attack wf'ed enemy country in turn 2? If we make like there was no wall fuck, then the correct would be that he doesnt atack my trans.

So, if you didnt wall fuck his city walls with a trans ...he ...wouldnt be able to attack that trans for some reason? Are you trolling again? ...as your signature suggests.

Hang on. My walls were on denmark, except for one infantry that I let in sea His wall was in german territory. But we were too close to the german-denmark frontier, so we both got wallfucked. If his wall was not there, I wouldn't get wallfucked and trust, my trans would be walled. Same if my wall wasn't there but he had walled hamburg. The correct would be to assume that no one should attack the other's since it was an accidental wallfuck... or will you tell me that he knew I was going to wall my trans there? or I knew that he was going to wall hamburg? I would've accepted it if he had one unit there, since he was actually trying to wallfuck. But come on, "accidentally" wallfuck me with a wall and then attack my trans?

I took denmark, so technically it was my territory when turn started. Either way, how this ever matter? The walls weren't intend to wf each others.

Dear xxmpfXparatX Yes, your situation is the reason I posted this thread. You feel backstabbed by me because I took your empty cities(2). Even though my intent was to fight together, not to backstab you. Therefore the my wall between your capital and our mutual enemy. I thought that an empty city is an invitation to an ally to take and not considered unethical. But your reaction, made me reconsider and thus this thread. I am not sorry if you feel betrayed, but am sorry because apparently you feel I ruined your game. I know that the ethics are different for every player. I recently felt gangbanged too when I allied a player and he did nothing as I was being attacked by a much stronger player (both in force and experience), only because that player did not want to share sp. His response was, sorry I am allied to him and he does not want to share SP. He felt legit to not intervene while I was being slaughtered. So I feel your pain and apologize for that feeling. Back to topic: - The only thing I heard what is unethical is wf. So everything else is legit? - Is taking empty cities without specific approval considered an act of backstabbing and thus unethical?

Was your trans in UK? No....free game when your walls failed, by your logic if I intend to wall belguim as france but you wf then you cannot take belguim.. Hell by your logic if I wall fuck london with a trans taking belguim from France or Spain then I can continue to attack london which is where you will argue 'no thats my cap' - no wf turn 1 is all cities on home land no just caps. I remember losing a cw to GK for this very reason, he wfed hamburg then proceded to take - lost 5 reinf GG Anyway clovis don't confuse the guy with hypothetical situations, what I wrote is just a view on ethics and basic guideline.

Nice post spam. I didn't wallfucked hamburg with my transports - they were pretty far from the incident. I recall that my troops were NOT in german territory ( I don't know about sea, but I am pretty sure that was not german's sea either). U don't confuse my logic. Anyway bla it. On topic again, just don't wallfuck enemy capital 1st turn and ask the other clan for how they play (rules).

Lol you CAN take the empty cities, but you and the UK guy both unallied and declared war on me same turn...huh, makes me wonder. I don't know exactly what reaction made you think I was reacting negatively to you taking my empties honestly. As far as I can tell, I was just moving on our mutual enemy and expanding, and all of a sudden you and UK are on my ass, declaring war and hitting my cities on multiple fronts. In any case not a big deal, just more SP now that we are having a more even and legit war (just wish UK would have stayed out of it fighting on two fronts isn't going to work well for me). Not really pissed, just annoyed slightly haha. But still, if I win against you guys I think I deserve some bragging rights
