Does everyone rep farm?

So I've been looking at people's pages and it started me thinking: does everyone here rep farm?

Or do they come from spectacular plays? Personally I don't have a lot, but it's really hard for me to decide whether it's because I'm not a good player or just because I've never asked for a rep.

Sure I will give a rep if someone gives me one and asks for one in return but I've never been the one to ask first.

Another possibility could be familiarity with the player making people want to rep them. I haven't been on as extensively as I was earlier so that could be it.

I just haven't seen enough rep farming in games to believe it is as pervasive as this evidence shows.

Like, ive seen rnk 5s with 200 rep for no reason, it really just depends

Most people who care about rep ask to be repped which inflates this system even more.

Rep farming are for people who cares about rep

I have never rep farmed, but I am still proud of my 196 rep

Rep is not important as stuff like rank, elo, and actual skill! rep farmers dont have anything to do so they just farm. I never asked for a rep back or rep for rep and im proud for the few reps i got! (about 40)

Yes, as you can see that I'm rank 8, I do know that rep really means nothing. I was just wondering if most people got their reps from rep4rep or from skill.

I'm rank 6 almost 7, never asked to be repped, I have around 50 reps. I personally think that it is pointless because if you have high amount of reps, then most people think that you got them from rep farming.

I like reps

A rep would basically mean an increase in your reputation, whether it be notoriety or through skill. I see it as basically just a number that shows how known you are.

Because noobs like rep.

Most people don't rep farm

I've never once asked for rep. The Rep system has become rtaher redundant anyway. I use to use early on as an indicator of whether someone woulD stab you in the back. Even back then, it wasn't much of an indication.

Yes lots of players farm weather its rep/sp/elo its just points that do nothing anyhow, just play the game and who cares what points who has
