1st Casual Survival Tournament

General information:

This tournament is a completely new type of tournaments in afterwind. Like it is already told in the name, this tournament will be just played with casual games. The game flow will be explained in the section "course of the game".

Tournament type:

• starts as an tournament, where you have to collect SP as fast as possible. After 5 weeks the SP will be counted and the 1 or 2 (will be specified in this post each week) people with less SP won't pass to the next Casual game.
  
• when there are just 8 people remaining, then they will play 1vs1 in a KO System.
  

Grouping:

Depending on the number of participants the players will be set into several groups.(e.g. if there are 45 participants, there will be 3 groups with each 15 players in it). The groups members will be randomly for each new casual round.

Course of the game:

In week 1 every player joins the casual game and trys to earn as much SP as possible till week 5, because then the SPs will be counted and the 2 worst collectors have to leave the tournament and can't join the next casual game, where the people join again in week 1 and the SPs will be counted again (and added to the these before).
When there are only 6 players remaining then this players have to fight against each other in an africa map (or an custom map, if the update will be already available).

For the calculation for archiving the next round will be taken all SP you got in week 5 + the SP from the previous rounds.

If someone dies within the 5 weeks he/she is automatically out of the tourney.
In case that 2 or more people have a tie at the end of week 5, the person which performed better in the previous casual will win. If the earned SP have been the same in the previous week too, then they have to play a 1vs1 in Europe+ (10k, no rares, +100 cities) within the next start of the new round. If they dont play against each other both are out of the tournament. If a tie between 3+ players happens in the first round, then they are all out.

Default settings / rules:

Game type: Casual
Map: World (Africa / Custom Map)
Turn duration: 24 h
Starting funds: 10 k
Victory: capture player capital and hold it for 2 turns
Rares: none:

Remember: Players with several accounts are just allowed to play with one of them! If one of your opponents (or you ^^) cheated then report it to Tzeentch or Safari.


Scheduling matches:

You don't have to care about scheduling a game. The game will be hosted by Tzeentch or Safari (who will start as Mauritius and leave immediately after the first week). Then all players can join with the password they received. Joining and selecting follows the rules: "come first served first". We will just announce a date and time, when we will host the game.

Joining and seedings:

The next rounds will start on 30th October. So you have 3 days off. Of course you can still play in the casual games of round 1, but the result does not count there anymore.
The seedings will be one day before the next round starts.
In round 2 we have 22 participans. So there will be 2 groups with 11 people.


Reporting scores:

Reporting scores is not necessary, because Tzeentch and Safari will count the SP already and provide a ranking, so that the participants can see, if they are currently in the final 8.

So now we are in the finals, where just 8 people could survive. The games will be played in private like the 1vs1 Tournaments. To proof your win, just post an image in here
