Can't undo move

Sometimes I can't undo my move and the line turns grey, I would have thought this was a glitch if not for it turning grey, is there any way to avoid this? It has made me lose many games.

The lines will turn a bit more grey when you for example merge armies and then move them or transport units overseas, I don't know why they can't be undone, but they just can't.

You can refresh your page for all moves to be undone

you may have the time to refresh in quick games such as 4 mins turns

Lol did you even read it? I know there is usually an X but sometimes it doesn't appear, I have looked at older posts and the dev says it's because of branched moves but I get this even in simple moves, no separating and joining. Most times I accidentally click the wrong thing, that just happens, it's not usually because I haven't thought it out.

This also apples to cities. If you are attacking, moving to, or leaving a city and you do the same thing with another stack to/from the same city only the last stack you moved will be cancellable.
