Make a cry thread forum

I am noticing there are a few mods who are moving cry threads to the off topic forum section, although I do think it's a good to move them away from our general discussion forum.. I think it would be best if the admins created a cry thread forum, this way all cry babies can cry there all they wish.

It is making our community look bad if the general discussion forum is full of cry threads... just my two cents.

I dont think a complaint forum is a good idea. That will motivate people to complain and also doesn't looks good. Imagine you enter to a new game and you see lots of complaints about it.
If you want a complain function it should be just a button, which sends a private message to some pool of messages, which only a hand of people can read. And that Button should also not be called "Send Complaint", it would be better to call it "Send Feedback".

I can agree with that suggestion. But I just have one problem. People are complaining at least 3 times a week, so regardless, any new player that joins us will see those complaints in the general discussion area. In my opinion, it would be best if we ban all cry threads in the general discussion forum and create a cry thread forum, this way all cry threads can be located in one area instead of having it where we discuss stuff about game play, strategies, etc... like the decent people we are.

Better yet, we can have both. The cry thread forum and the send feedback option. I'm sure after a while players will start to use the send feedback option once they realize they are getting a response within a day or two. We can also describe the cry forum as 'This is where you come if you want to cry and seek attention..' I imagine and hope that will discourage players from making these cry threads and flame wars.

I thought most people didn't give a **** about some cry threads. Besides, lower ranks don't even know how to use the forums. By the time they do, they've learned to ignore bad content.
If these people have nothing else left to do, let them! Let them post their cry threads. But please don't get involved. They like to seek attention and you provide them that.

I think that it's too easy to call those threads " Cry Threads " as if they were totally useless and had no purpose.
Many of those threads are about improving Atwar. And the fact of putting them in a " special place " like if they were to be put in garbage can isn't good.
Most of all if the decision is taken by one or two people.

I also think that categorizing those as cry threads is a way to ignore some real problems.

I'm not saying that every thread about aw problems are legit but most of them are.

Don't try to shut down the voice of the community plz.

Some "cry threads" can be important to bring up certain issues and problems in AW or with the game, but i believe that making a separate forum for this kind of topics would only result in people considering that part of the forum to be a place where they can shit over others and then would defend their "insulting" topics by claiming it is made for that exact purpose.

And as for bringing up issues - they can report bugs in the Bugs forum, they can suggest their ideas in the Suggestions forum.
