This is the conclusion I've reach in my other post. The 2x multiplier is something that is really damaging the community in both short terms and long terms, and should be removed. Argument about this were provided here http://atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=16711. However as someone told me, "Nothing will charge" if we only remove 2x multiplier. It seems like I forgot to give the solution in the last post, so I am going to give it here instead. As many players say, there is sure something better than 2x multiplier for boost this kind of competition. We are going to talk about those possible replacements. In other words, this is an Excharge. I'l post the purpose of this topic very clear, so nobody goes off-topic. Purpose: Excharge the 2x multiplier by another feature that can encourage the use of clan wars, but with less drawback for the current 3vs3 system. 1. Excharge the 2x SP multiplier for 1.5x SP multiplier. This is, +50% of the SP earned in CW. I personally disagree, but this is wort mentioning. 2. A protocoin reward for the top 3 clans for every victory/ end of season. Maybe giving an award for the "player who had participated in more Clan Wars" in the 1st winner clan, for that season. However I dont think devs are willing to do this... 3. Rewards of "power-ups". There could be a currency for clans, Clan Coins. You obtain CC's by and only by winning CW's. Some of the items I though could be available for buy: - Head-Start: Gives the clan a 5 win advantage. Item only available in the first 3 days of a season. - +CP: Earn double Comp OR lose half Comp for the next Coalition War. - +SP: Earn double SP for the next Coalition War. - First pick: Your team gets 1st pick. Valid for one Coalition War only. And of course, the top 3 winners gets lots of CC. There could be more awesome stuff like starting with a limit of 10 players in clan, and with CC you can buy an expansion. 4. The same 2x multiplier, but rotative. One day dreamworld, then africa, then 1 min middle east, then no extra cities europe. Maybe +CP could be adden as well. 5. Penalties for losing Coalition Wars. From now I had only though about reducing their SP earned by 1/2 everytime they lose. When they win one CW, their SP is revert back to 100%. 6. And last, making only the first 30 CW's count. What I mean is that you cannot replace victories anymore. However even though this would solve the problem between professional coalitions, the lower ones that doesn't care about CW's wouldnt stop... Either one can be implement, maybe all them, maybe a combination of all them, but anyway, those are my suggestion for replace the 2x multiplier. So first you talk about how the 2x sp is bad, but then you contradict yourself and suggest that clans that have a lot of wins should be allowed to have 2x sp in a selected cw? then you proceed to give ideas that do more damage to competitive atwar:
are you out of your mind? those are pretty much "win once, increase your chances of winning twice"
yes, lets discourage clans from playing a clan that is hard to beat
ok, so now clans will be more selective about their cws and there is gonna be less cws in total
pay to win This is about your 2x topic:
plz prove that there is such "farming clans"
Can you prove the clan wars are now of lower quality? or are you just making stuff up on the spot?
can you prove that playing more 3vs3 than ClanWars helps develop skill?
evidence?
Proof? most clans cw in acient because that is what some clans like winterfell and Preto Guard are Focus on.

First of all, all those are suggestions. They can be debatable. Second, the clan warrers lost that argument long ago. You'll better go to the old threat for see how did this happen. And third, if you dont have something to suggest as a replacement of 2x multiplier, then pls go away.

Respect, but no support. I think 2x sp motivates new people to play 3v3 in order to play cws eventually. What's sp worth anyway: to get upgrades when you're low rank and to get higher in the players' ranking. So, lower ranks are motivated to play cws and top players are rewarded for forming clans and playing in team games. Clans provide training, and so on... Support the status quo on that issue!

With all respect, this is an utterly pointless idea. Any and all rewards given for playing Clan Wars should be symbolic or replaceable. Trophies, bold username in chat, etc., etc, for reasons detailed in that other thread. Giving Clan War specific power ups is, as Tunder3 mentioned, "win once, increase your chances of winning twice." Giving certain Clan War games +100% or all of them +50% SP bonuses kind of defeat the point of removing the current bonus in the first place. Penalties for losing Clan Wars is bad for the exact same reason bonuses for winning Clan Wars is bad. Any rewards should be symbolic. Therefore, any penalties should also be symbolic. Just... get rid of the bonus. There is no reason to replace it with anything. As I said in the other forum thread, if the admins want to encourage players to play more Clan Wars, let them do it with protocoins or some symbolic reward. I am of the opinion that SP gain be balanced between all types of gameplay, Clan Wars included.
