Imo i don't really think brie larson fits captain marvel
shes a good actress but i dont know if she can pull it off
look at the comic book design


i think the cpt marvel in the comic book looks way more bad ass than brie larson's cpt marvel cuz she looks more imposing

i think an actress that looks like this would fit the bill for cpt marvel


see i think the problem with women who play action roles in hollywood films dont have the look
see how above picture she has a thick ass neck and vascular
its very easy to see how she looks stronger than most women and even men

now brie larson was bad ass in scot pilgrim but i dont think that was the same type of badass marvel is looking for

i think female actresses should take peds like male actors to look the part in these super action movies

what do u think?

Superheroes are for boys, and as a result female superheroes are generally boring/poorly written etc...

the biggest problem with the trailer imo is her voice and how she intonates her sentences

when she says
i'm not what you think i am
↑ ↓ ↔ ↔ ↔ ↔ ↔

this intonation + the pitch of her voice brings out much haughtier tone which does not fit the personality of cpt marvel

maybe if she used an intonation like it would sound a bit better

Why replace a male character with a female ?
simple tokenism !

For every 1 woman superhero comic book author there's 99 men.

in the west maybe ?
in the east maybe not ?
so why change when can invent/import alternatives !
