Best anime ever?

Okay, getting a little bored, so for you anime lovers out there: what do you think is the best anime ever? No Naruto, no bleach, and nothing that you can't find online (what i mean is if someone asks you where to find an anime, have a link ready) Have fun!

Well mine is obvious, but other than pokemanz, I used to like some of the random crap they used to play on CN. Oh, just remembered about
one piece, it was okay.

Kiki the witch is one everyone should watch. Also a good movie to watch with a girl/ girlfriend etc.

I didn't watch many animes, though I really liked "Death Note", "Akira", "Hellsing" and "Jin Roh".

Sounds interesting. Okay, in the original thread, i sadly forgot to say some of my favorites. These would probably include Kanokon, Kaze no Stigma, and Vampire Knight. Also, everyone's favorite back in the day would have to be either pokemon or yugioh...

Neon Genesis Evangelion , Samurai Champloo and FLCL are the best anime ever.

Gundam. Original, SEED and 00. Toradora! and Minami-ke are good slice-of-life that I really enjoyed. Watching Baccano right now

Okay, just finished season 1 of ah! my goddess. Actually a really good slice of life/ supernatural anime.

Great classic Anime film, pretty much anything from Studio Ghibli is great to watch with a chick

Oh yes that was the name, Kiki's Delivery Service. It's a shame they don't make more like that. Most of the other ones mentioned in this thread I could not stand to watch for 5 mins.

Several other movies from Kiki's director Hayao Miyazaki and Studio Ghibli are also pretty good, including Ponyo, Totoro, Howl's Moving Castle and Spirited Away just to name a few.

Spirited away was amazing...

agree pokemon got vary silly the originals is the best.

however i like zoids, the clone wars both of them (if you count them as anime) and dexters loboritory.

Dexter's loboritory is not anime. It is simply a piece of crap created by cartoon network to entertain 4-year-olds.
