You've got it all wrong. Capitalism is not alive anywhere. What we've got is an extreme capitalism ruled by 1% of the population which has all the power. Do you really expect them to do anything for us, the other 99%?

This is what all capitalism devolves into, its not just "extreme capitalism" Capitalism only benefits the person, so it will be and is easy to exploit.

Bullshit. Papadopolous was by far the absolute WORST Greek leader in every aspect. He only paid his cronies, anyone suspected to have left-wing ties was not allowed to get a job, the military police was the highest paying job there was, it was illegal for more than 5 people to be together outside at any time (not even joking) and he sold 1/3 of Cyprus, not to mention breaking into an arts university with a fucking tank and killing a bunch of students. For fuck's sake he didn't even allow the rock band Scorpions to have a concert because their hair was too long. Papadopoulos left Greece a decaying mess.

What about him is exactly great? He didn't raise Greece's GDP, nor it's salaries, the police was chasing left-wing people instead of actual criminals, he literally did nothing but suck off the goverment for personal gain.

He done what had to be done. Built roads for easier transport and infrastructure for easier life. Because of him my Greek friend earn 10k a month with one small shop selling house products. Something simple as that, now i can imagine how much money other Greeks can earn in their jobs which require certain skills and knowledge. 1970's = dictatorship building the country 1980's = dictatorship resign, democracy returns, country start to gets result from builders, economy growing, entering miracle 1990's = economy booming, Greece makes more money than America per capita (era when i lived there) You can imagine the glory of wealthy Greece surrounded by Yugoslav, Bulgarian and Turkish wastelands. Wealth achieved in such a short term thanks to proper policies introduced by Giorgios.

The economic boom lost steam by 1972, and even before that Papadopoulos only made Greece overreliant on tourism rather than advance on many sectors. Not to mention the financial scandals conducted by many of his ministers, most notably the minister of tourism. Even if all that can be forgiven, giving away 1/3 of Cyprus can't. As for many Greeks earning 10k a month, that was only because of other Greeks rotting in political prisons in Macronesos and Icaria.

Well, in my opinion, governments are the ones that can regulate the market in order to not allow this capitalism to develop so extremely, hence the extreme capitalism "concept". Once governments interfere and dictate the rules, capitalism would be beneficial for everyone... something that will never happen as they are corrupt as fuck, not because capitalism is that way...

Like Germany and China? Interesting enough, they both have similar economic concepts: Social Market Economy & Socialist Market Economy. Germany maintain high living standard since 1960, it developed fast since WW2 and now it is leading European country. It also wasn't affected by 2008 crisis. China is still poor but thanks to their German-like policies (i guess) they jumped from third-word country to second-world status, they created 200 million middle class for 30 years and expect 800 million more in 10 years. Their GDP is rising $1 trillion a year and they expect $1.5 trillion more in years ahead.

There's no normal people out there, everyone is inside the system, this meaning they are all corrupt people paid by private corporates or simply don't care at all about anyone else besides themselves, unless they can benefit him in some way.

I wouldn't say they are perfect examples, since they still benefit richer and more powerful people at the expense of the middle class, but it's a begining in a certain way. I'd be up for some sort of mix between communism and capitalism where the richest people had most of the responsability. That way money should circulate through the entire system and middle class would gain some adquisition power, thus making the country more powerful (at least in theory).

Try to become president and see for yourself all the shit going on inside the system. Then try to mantain your word. It's not like I like them nor defend them, but sure they will lie, cheat, steal, etc. when they are given the chance so easily... specially when they don't get anything for helping us. It's corporations and big money fortunes who run this country. They are humans, not machines. And corporations are simply selfish, all they need is money and they'll do whatever is in their hands to get it, including corrupting the democracy. Either get rid of private corporations or make them unable to reach politicians.

Generally speaking, i think the problem is that countries and people let (private)corporations do what they want, give them too much freedom in some fields corporations not even have interest (like buying indian water sources). When Putin came to power he partially nationalized corporations, sold the 49% shares while the government took 51%, so there is still a board of directors but the government owns majority of shares. Same with oligarchs, instead imprisoning them, you subdue them to follow orders, because there will always be rich people and corporations, no matter how much you try to crush them, so better leave them exist, but they have to obey the country rules they're in. In Russia, corporations donate money to build roads, infrastructure, tunnels, fund hospitals, schools, colleges, create banks to give loans to entrepreneurs and invest in domestic market and abroad. Thus they relieve federal budget and speed up development, and people see corporations as friendly instead moneyhungry giants. I think the same thing happens in China, Japan and Germany, keiretsu system in Japan which create endless tenders to allocate state money to building corporations, Chinese corporations answer to the Communist Party and German corporations are traditionally loyal. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_champions

I never said Democracy and Capitalism are destructive everywhere, but only in my part of the planet. Capitalism did fine in America 1800-1950 and Germany 1850-1910 / 1950-2000 If properly established it have better chance to work than Nazism.

That is the summary. Just do as said, either goverments make them follow their rules, in order to benefit the country, or simply nationalize all the industry.
