This is a question to all admins, where do u work? and did u use at-war as a portfolio to help u in the recruitment process of ur now jobs? Last question, im an IT student who will graduates this year and i really like to work with DataBases in general. So do u recommend this path of IT?

Why not allow players to make new strategies with the map editor? Then make a selection tab for strategies in the game lobby to allow which strategies would be allowed in a game before starting. This would allow players to get creative with different strategies and test them. If you don't like a strategy or think it's to OP in a map....deselect it before starting the game and turn it off!

Hey there,

I work at a (relatively) small company in my home country. Didn't used atWar as part of my resume.

As for your graduation, congratulations! Mine's this month, 30th to be exact. Database is a great field. In my country, it is also one of the most payed. IMO it is a little struck unlike Networking, Servers or Software-related fields (Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence or even Software in general). Hopefully you'll get to play with Graph SQL and NoSQL databases though - that has been gaining traction for over a decade now.

If you like to generate reports and get results more than "how" to get those results, I really suggest you to give Machine Learning a try. It's a very promising field!

It needs to be scrapped and made as a seperate app/port after the game is stable. There is no way pc and phone users should be in the same game. It's not balancable.

It isnt that bad but u cant use Ats or hot keys if that was fixed i think it wud be fine

I was in Croatia on a separate trip, went up and down the coast by car, stopping in various places. Krk, Zadar, Split, Dubrovnik and various smaller places. Really liked it, beautiful nature, great for hiking.

I know this isn't really the place but it's a serious question for me. Previously we could tell when we where zooming past in game zoom, because the map editor would notify us, that seems to be missing in the new editor aswell we can't zoom as far as we used to be able to in the editor, both of these things are very important when making maps, and I was wondering if your aware of this, and if it will be fixed soon.

Wasn't aware of this, thanks for mentioning.

I work (currently remotely) for a small UK company that does online cognitive/psychological evaluations for corporate HR. And yes, atWar was part of my portfolio
I would definitely recommend the IT path, it worked wonders for me. Especially the back end stuff (like databases) seems to be in high demand almost anywhere.

Never going to happen, same reason they don't moderate help chat effectively far to many trolls and alts, they need to loosen there restrictions on game bans allowing us to as map makers to effectively fight trolls on our own.

I personally disagree, and think that a moderator to oversee certain scenario maps would be very beneficial. If said Moderator was and Administrator, then he could deputize map-makers/or community members, and oversee them.
The staff member shouldn't be limited to the scenarios, but rather make that his main focus.

wowe, a scenario admin player is not enough? Or you guys specifically wants a MapMaker? Either case, such distinctions (eu/scenario mod) shouldn't exist IMO.
