Everyone knows one of the most played scenarios nowadays is GGG. It's loved by many and is a precious diamond of the atwar game. It probably fills up in less than 3 minutes maximum. Well, its unfortunate for all of us as since it has been deleted. By whom? Tik-Tok. There was an unfortunate course of events where Tik-Tok was made an editor by Tunder3(the dazzling creator of this gem). An unforeseen trail of events unfolded as Tik-Tok unleashed his deleting rage. We must as a community question Tik-Tok's decisions and demand an answer for his actions. Let there be mercy and enough determination in Tunder3 for him to put in countless hours again to benefit the atwar community.

If even. I don't think maps should be deletable at all.
If I publish a book, I can edit it later, but I can't go "oh no, I screwed up, can everyone just give their copies back plz?"
AW maps should work the same way in my opinion.

I agree, it should not be possible to "unpublish" a map. It is unnecessary and gives too much power to map-makers.

So if I have a great update that is game-breaking while I am working on it I can't unpublish the map because you is scurred?

Leave the old version up till the new one is ready, then switch. Geez.

Old == New, you can't have the same map up whilst it's unpublished.

You can't edit a map without having to unpublish it? -.-

No. It's called fucking maintenance. Wanna play on a half-built map, then complain that it's half-finished on the forums because you're a dumb-as-shit Plebian who cannot comprehend the simple-as-shit concept that we edit our maps to make them better, and have to save very often because the editor tends to kick us off?

Tl;Dr: We unpublish because we save often, even when the map is technically broken, because we get kicked a lot.

I love how this gets said by a dude that has made 1 map with 5 plays on it.

Plus, if you're only going to build half the map at a time, don't bother. -.-

You have no knowledge of my existence or expertise, or else you would have shut your talkhole by now. I am NOT being literal by saying "half" you unsophisticated serf, I am stating that a Cartographer may not both have a map published, and edit it, if it means the map must be saved whilst editing it to avoid server kicks. If it were not saved, there is the possibility to lose all of your work, and if it is saved while working, the map may become unbalanced, due to not being finished. If I were to keep a map published whilst editing it and save it, you people would come bitching and moaning on the forums that it's broken.

Lawl. Sorry, but I don't think I should concern myself with every single lowly rank 6 out there who wants attention. And please, do stop calling yourself a "Cartographer". I repeat, 1 map with 5 plays on it. xD

As for your argument, perhaps you should have mentioned that *before* starting to throw out insults willy-nilly.

Why does it matter how long he has played the game for? Joining in 2011 doesn't mean your opinion is more valid.

Actually, I joined in 2010. This is my (formerly) alt. account, though my main has been deleted by myself for some time, and yes, it does make an opinion more valid, Seniority rules.

A little birdie told me that Tik-Tok had nothing to do with any of this, and Tunder simply unpublished his map for the lulz.

It seems sort of fishy to me too. There are two sides to every story.
