Hi fellow atWarriors, Amok here

As you've probably noticed, I haven't completely abandoned this game (I just can't, really, since it's my first born and I will always care for its future, no matter what). I've been lurking around here quite regularly and I can say that I'm really happy to see that the game is finally getting the attention and care it always deserved. I haven't changed my mind since my last news post, I still think there is a bright future ahead for atWar and I hope you all share my sentiment. I have absolutely no regrets of selling this game, as it was a necessary decision to keep it alive (and kicking!).

And wow, it's been almost 6 months since the transition! But anyway, how are you all doing?

Hi Amok. I am happy you are prioritizing family first! I wish you a happy easter.

I guess we're doing better than with inactive admins, so yeah, ofc it was something absolutely necesary to happen... it was something certain people in the community were asking for a long time. No intention to disrespect the creator of this great game but you were too slow in your decision taking. However, I'd like to thank you for finally taking the right choice. I guess we (or me, at least) hope Dave gets AW the bright future it deserves.

It's quite touching to see that you're still worried about this game and it's something I'd like to thank you for. Nevertheless, I feel like you could probably contribute in a more tangible or productive way than just lurking, after all it's you who started this and knows it better than anyone else.

Btw, how have you been doing lately? Got any spare time to finally relax and enjoy life?

Oh you know, it's going. It feels like times square in the 1920's sometimes and the middle of a desert at night at other times.

Deploying on Friday is bad m'kay:), so we're going to do it on Sunday...

Other than that, been six awesome months since the transition! Slow, but steady. Feels so refreshing to have this stream of game updates. Dave got some very exciting plans for the game under his sleeves! Time comes & go, saw many old players coming back & few people we're going to miss (not really). DDoS & hacking still a thing, shall the iron hammer smash them. The current mod team (+brianwl) is definitively the best one we've ever had!

We tried to sell it or make it work by other means through all the inactive years, but nothing really came out of it. That is, until Dave showed up to save the day
I am not able to contribute due to time constrains, unfortunately, even lurking takes time!
I'm alright, thanks. Still not much in terms of spare time, but it's getting better!

Good to know it's changing for the better. As for the DDoS attacks, they are a measure of success in a way. If no one cared about it, you wouldn't have DDoS!

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it an asteroid? NO, IT'S DAVE! Thank god you finally found a true solution to your inactiveness

You tell me about it... this is like a labyrinth full of nonsense behind every corner, it takes real detective skills to determine what is worth your time (ehem, just a hint, off topic usually isn't)

You might need some adviser to help you orgnize your spare time, it can't be that bad! Even I got spare time to dedicate to this old rusty forum. If you ask me, get a ticket, fly here to Mallorca, enjoy a couple weeks and you'll go back with a smile
