Your post is the definition of why I did it. Everyday people get on rp people and LoN AND ARE PERFECTLY FINE WHEN THEIR GAMES GET RUINED. But when the hand comes to slap you, you cry harder than the rp players.

I was merely pointing out that we should all just let people play their games and stop bitching about which is better.

RP always enables late joining and it's a map so people don't care when someone leaves. And it depends on what country leaves in LoN.
If UK or Germany leaves, REBAKEREMAKEREMAKEREMAKE.

I do think game mechanics need a bit of an overhaul regarding walls. If I had to take the option of AW with walls and AW without walls, I'd take AW without walls. Make some strats actually worth something. AW doesn't really favor defensive strats- you just sorta expand the fuck out and wall everything.

Also, most scenarios are cancer with little to no balance. RP and other shit sometimes just takes the point of playing AW in the first place. UN was a key example of this- a wargame with no actual warring, just "OH HE LEFT CLAIM NAO GIBE MONIES"

I think the game does need a massive overhaul. Shit communities are everywhere. Shitty games are not.

Seriously though, I wasn't calling for a overhaul of the whole game, just walls. That alone would make the game a bit more interesting rather than just walling and wallfucking for twenty hours.
