What does game have to do with names? I play games on the internet, change names, play with ideologies, play wars, what's wrong with that? How can my name change affect comment i made?

Columna Durruti, are you seriously one of those people who use real life ideologies and political views and pass it on the internet and internet games? Do you really separate players on pro-you and anti-you? Does that mean you don't talk or play games with people who have different political views than you?

I enjoyed this game for long time as player and as mod. Now I enjoy it less as Mod and more as player (on alt accounts).

Personally, I am of Columna's opinion. I'm not much into pretending what I ain't, even if it's internet or a game, it still is me who is playing and writting. I can not lie about my thoughts and values... but I do not condemn others for doing so. although that makes trusting and analysing people harder. If it makes you have fun, then go ahead and do as you please

I guess this is the barrier between our (part of the) worlds. We have too different mentalities, upbringing and life experience. Unfortunately.

What i've learned while traveling, watching foreign shows and talking to people on the internet, is that majority of you find the need/urge to express yourself, to tell your opinion on every matter, to have a say. As you said now, you cannot lie about your thoughts and values. But i tell you it's not bad if you don't say anything.

You also try to analyze people, and as you say it makes harder for you if they don't tell their opinion or say anything. You find it weird that someone simply don't say political views or comment if others did.

It's like you are unable to connect to people only through entertainment (like games, like this one, atwar) before analyzing political and ideological opinions of the players you meet.

We Slavs don't have such mentality, but watching domestic shows, which are basically copies of the western studios, we're becoming similar. Trying to analyze people even though that doesn't concern us at all.

I personally find it stupid to do something on the internet game that reflects your real life. What's the point then? I do play internet games to escape real life for a moment, that's a point for me. I work 8h every day, i need a mental break, i definitely won't spend it on saying my political views in the topic and be serious to force someone to understand it. But i enjoy randomly posting-replying to players like Tik-Tok or Unleashed who talk seriously about Nazism and Anarchism. I definitely enjoyed reading this forum when Crimea rejoined Russia 2 years ago,

That's why i created this name and clan, for fun after seeing 'The Reich', 1000 Fuhrers and Hitlers on atwar and 100 'red' clans on other games, who are really serious about their ideologies. They are going so far that i know a guy from one game where he have fascist clan, who went to Paris and Brussels after terrorist attack to 'help brothers fascists'. How on earth he connected terrorist attacks with fascism, or fascism with humanitarian aid? Couldn't he go ONLY to help people and not do it because of ideology?

To be honest, i would feel embarassed to talk about my real political views, feelings and views in the internet game, i'm a man for christ sake, we don't do that. This is only a game, i can only make fun of politics, never be serious about it. When i see someone talk about nazism, i will counter him so he can accuse me of being communist, when i see capitalist i will counter him so he can accuse me of being communist (again..) and when i see communist i will counter him so he can accuse me of being imperocapitalist fascist.

The very core of this game is RP. And i am not talking about UN games. I am talking about WW2, WW1, Ancient. When you pick a country = you are RPing. If you take Nazi Germany in WW2, you are Hitler leading Wehrmacht against USSR and UK. if you pick US, you are Roosevelt sending American pilots to bomb Europe. So why you separate gaming community on 'players' and 'rpers' when basically they are doing the same thing.

You got it all wrong. I don't feel any urge to express myself, but when I do express my opinion, I express my real life opinion. And I don't find weird that someone else decides to express an invented opinion or simply not express his opinion at all if he doesn't want to (may I remind you that's what most politicians do). As for analysing people, it's just the way I get to trust them, hence why I wouldn't trust most people on internet, because you never know when they're being completely honest. Saying that I can't connect with people through a game is totally bullshit considering I've made quite some friends around here hahaha what I analyse is not political opinions, I analyse behaviour and their compatibility with me (for example, El crey supports franco, which I despise, but I like him cause he's a nice guy XD)

This doesn't have anything to be with your world, even some spanish people prefer to troll instead of being honest. Same will happen with some slav people.
