It's still best to pick your own country. If you defect and win for some other country, it's a hollow win.
But some players can't play for their home country as too many players already pick that one, so once the exception is made, it opens the door for others.

So at this point, and now that we're almost full and have a significant number of teams involved, we can start to ask u to organize your teams and find a captain + try to accord your schedule.

How does it work playing for other countries? Is there some sort of rule?

Well the initial rule was to play for your country. Then it was to play for a country close to you.

But now, considering we're almost full and that we just need one last country to start, u can play for the country that u want.

I added Italy cause it's a shame it's not represented
