Mine is Robert E. Lee. While I do not like the institution of slavery, his willingness to put the lives of him men and home before the country are both inspiring and tantalizing. He didn't fight so much for slavery, but for his home. When the war finally ended and he surrendered because his men were starving, he set an example that I hope continues or will continue to follow. I also like Armistead a little bit. While not as remembered as much as Lee, he was also charismatic. These short clips show some of my favorite scenes and depictions of Lee and Armistead from a movie called Gettysburg:

Everyone is living a myth and it's important to know what yours is. It could be a tragedy- and maybe you don't want it to be.
Not kidding, but Frederick the Great is goodt as well
so, you like a general who lost a war and killed a few million jews? i dont get you
losing the war can't be blamed on him, but the genius invasions of Poland, France, and Russia can be, had Hitler not ordered Stalingrad to be taken he probably would have won at Russia as well, as for the jews, it happens, right idea, wrong people
