One of the Most annoying things people on Afterwind do.

In world war II scenarios.. or any scenario for that matter, if a rank 3 or 4 picks Germany or another important scenario side people are like,

"OMG A NOOB IS GERMANY ITS OVER FOR THE AXIS THIS GAMES GONNA SUCK KICK HIM!"

or

"OMG A NOOB IS GERMANY RESTART IT'S A RANK 4 NOOB AS GERMANY RESTART THE GAME! MAKE A NEW ONE!"


It's so freaking annoying! And the worst part is people think because it's a rank 4 they automatically suck. And most of the players who say and do this kind of crap are rank 5 players.

Same for WW1 scenarios, because Germany is equally important there. Japan and the sometimes the USSR in WW2 scenarios are the same case.

Well first of all anything above a rank 5 looks down on others, zizou just looks like god from out stanfpoint cause he rank 11 and bets/worst pleayer on afterwind. rank 5 makes everyone one above you say yuor probably a good player. a guest cAn get to rank 4 in a day if he works hard

I once worte on kongregate's comment section that ranks don't determinate anything,i hope people will listen to me if my comment is not "burried",since like durrhunter said,a rank 4 can win pros like tophats or lilD,while ziziou is probably the worst player in this game,altough he looks good beacuse of his rank

So, to get back on topic, if you are worried about a lower ranked player taking an important nation in scenarios, just don't play those scenarios. Simple as that.

I join as Jamaica and someone pick Cuba and goes ether "ally?" or "I'ma kill you!" Always ends up in my expansion not being of time, and if the person wants to kill me they always lose and this small window of desperate time allows for USA to dominate my land which in turn may lose me the game.

The issue could be helped by giving longer turn times in cases like WWII and Germany, where the player must focus against 3+ fronts with preplaced units scattered across Europe, Afrika, and the Atlantic. A newer player can perform to much the same level (if they're skilled at strategy games) if they're given more time. Experienced players are faster, and are usually the ones lobbying for less time.
