Game highlight #1: Ascott vs Ice nova, a battle of giants.

We all know the feeling of that dude not admitting his weakness. Claiming he is better than ya, blaming the weather and teammate after a football match that ended 0-5. This was something akin to it. This was a story of two great men battling out in a ww1 game for 20 something turns. All sweaty, full of adernaline and testosterone. Two see themselves in a fiery rematch. Rematch of fire. Fire of rematch. Let's go into the story.

Let me introduce our heroes Ascott and Ice nova. They're new to this game. both r5s. Young and eager.
After a ww1 match that ended with their victory, they hold grudge on one another since they been trashtalking each other for the whole time.
At the end of the match this happens.





This was the premises of one of the spiciest game of the week. They were going to battle each other out in a eu game 1v1 3k, to see who was the better man, man o man. No bullshit.

Off the boat, Ice nova picks Portugal, but you won't believe what ascott's response to that.

turn 4 they were all jacked up with expansions with Ascott who is serbia spreading his genes all over the old continent, while Ice nova getting paris and roma, you can see he's a man of culture with that expansion. He going all renaissance with that expansion. One can expect him to be a descendant of Charlemagne with that expansion . But you know Charlemagne's expansion isn't complete with some germany. But that belonged to Ascott his archnemesis.


situation was getting dire for ice nova he know he was falling behind on the spreading genes part. But the man had plan. Nietzsche-esque plan, Ice nova, the man had determination, willpower and most importantly goal. A goal to victory. A goal take Ascott's capital of serbia. And he did it



not only the man was able to take his capital he walls it.

Now the whole situation was all switched up. Zig zag.
Time was running out, but the man, Ascott was confident. He say " you better hold on for dear life". At this point i'm starting to think ascott was the villain here and ice nova was only trying to protect his honor.


I was all finger crossed for ice nova's come back. But it never came.
The Ice man was overwhelmed by Ascott's expansion with 20 something arts surrounding serbia.
