New Creative Idea: Revolving Cities

Currently, everybody knows the Europe map like a game of chess.

What if there was an option to enable random cities when the game starts, so that it's not all the same cities that appear on the map, but from a selection of cities (besides the capital). When you enable default map, you get default cities. Enable extra cities, you get extra cities. What if you made a list of even more cities, and then made it random which cities would actually appear when the game starts, but keeping it balanced of course. That way, things could be a little more interesting and less dull and repetitive for 10 years. Of course, chess never got dull or uninteresting, but this is not chess and 90-year-olds don't play atwar usually

It could be great but it might need some kind of AI or new code to make pop up the other cities randomly. i'm not at god on prograamming but could be feasible.

We could do something similar to presets it wouldnt be 100% random new cities but its the closest thing we can do I think.
We have different presets with new cities added for each preset and the game pick 1 random preset so you dont know which cities are added before picking.

But after few games we will know all presets.

Maybe a change capital mechanic too, in exchange of money or loss of all surplus(you know, your income goes up to %150 in some turns.

Sounds like an interesting idea, and I agree with Froyer's idea where there's like a predetermined amount of "mini maps" with specific cities and clicking random will pick one from the bucket
